  <Accordion title="Failed to repair Hyper-V files automatically / Mapper error">
    Modified or “optimized” Windows installations can cause this. Use a supported, unmodified Windows build.

    Send support your Windows edition, build and exact message before reinstalling or changing versions.

  <Accordion title="Disable Hyper-V with DG Readiness / repeated restarts / Windows PIN message">
    These messages share the same Device Guard / Credential Guard procedure. Removing sign-in protection reduces the protection of your account; only proceed if your current loader requires it.

    1. Remove the Windows sign-in PIN/password through **Settings → Accounts → Sign-in options**, if requested by the loader.
    2. Download Microsoft's [Device Guard and Credential Guard readiness tool](https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=53337) and extract it.
    3. Open **PowerShell as administrator**.
    4. In that same PowerShell session, run:

    ```powershell theme={null}
    Set-ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted -Scope Process
    cd "C:\Path\To\ExtractedTool"
    .\DG_Readiness_Tool_v3.6.ps1 -Disable
    ```

    Replace the folder path with the one where you extracted the tool. Confirm the script filename against the downloaded version.

    5. Restart. If the firmware confirmation screen appears, press **F3** to confirm the requested Device Guard / Credential Guard change.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Unknown error while disabling HyperV / VT-x / VMX / SVM not supported">
    Send [support](/support) the exact error. The supplied fixes include additional scripts; have support confirm the correct script for your Windows build before running it.

    Do not delete Windows hypervisor files or run an unreviewed script with unrestricted permissions.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Please enable AMD-V (SVM) / Intel VT-X in BIOS">
    Enable the matching hardware virtualization setting: **SVM / AMD-V** on AMD, or **Intel VT-X** on Intel.

    This is not the same as enabling the Windows Hyper-V feature.

  <Accordion title="Unsupported firmware">
    The system disk needs a supported GPT/UEFI configuration. Back up the PC and ask support before changing disk or boot settings. Microsoft's [MBR2GPT documentation](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/deployment/mbr-to-gpt) explains the supported conversion process.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Virtual / RAID disk, Intel RST, or AHCI disk-mode error">
    The loader expects a compatible non-virtual disk configuration. Ask support to review RAID, Intel RST and AHCI settings before changing them.

    Changing a Windows boot disk's storage mode can make it unbootable. Do not blindly disable **iaStor** services or format the drive. See Microsoft's [Intel RST guidance](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/e3c4b6d6-56ba-4ac5-be50-89843c9d9b22/uninstalling-the-intelr-rapid-storage-technology?forum=windows-all).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="SPACES disk is present">
    Check **Control Panel → Storage Spaces** and send the configuration to support. Removing a Storage Spaces pool can erase the data on its disks; do not delete it as a quick fix.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Failed to map memory">
    1. Confirm the PC has **at least 16 GB RAM**.
    2. Keep the loader in a local folder, not OneDrive or another cloud-synced location.
    3. Close nonessential startup applications and restart.
    4. If needed, review application **Windows / CurrentVersion / Run** startup entries with [Microsoft Autoruns](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/autoruns). Leave other entries untouched.
    5. Try launching shortly after Windows starts. Send support the error if it still fails.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Incorrect HWID">
    Run these in an administrator Command Prompt:

    ```cmd theme={null}
    wmic diskdrive get Caption, SerialNumber
    wmic baseboard get SerialNumber
    getmac
    ```

    Send support any errors. WMIC is absent from some recent Windows builds; that alone is not proof of a broken installation.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Incompatible HWID / hardware mismatch">
    Restart and retry. If it remains, [request an HWID reset from MintKeys support](/support).
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Failed to spoof hardware identifier (0x4)">

  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Failed to load dependencies">
    Recheck [Getting started](/getting-started), uninstall conflicting third-party antivirus and Vanguard/FACEIT if still installed, then restart.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Failed to delete hvax.exe (1)">
    Ask support to confirm the repair for your Windows build. Do not take ownership of or delete Windows hypervisor executables as a quick fix.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Failed to init render">
    Check your required overlay and launch order. On laptops, confirm that the game uses the dedicated GPU. Ask support before disabling integrated graphics in BIOS.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Please unload a third-party hypervisor">
    Restart first. If the error remains, close or uninstall the conflicting virtual-machine software using its normal uninstaller, rather than deleting Windows files.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="AES instruction set is not supported">
    The CPU must support AES instructions. If your BIOS exposes an AES setting, check that it is enabled. Software cannot add AES support to a CPU that lacks it.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Intermittent black screens — Delta Force / ABI note">
    The supplied guide lists updating Windows for this specific issue in Delta Force / ABI. It is not a confirmed Rust or Rainbow Six Siege fix. For those games, send support your game, Windows build and error instead.
