# Loader & activation

> Download, activate and launch KRUSH Rust External.

## Download

## Product settings

The KRUSH product-specific setup calls for **BIOS virtualization on**, **Secure Boot off** and **TPM off**. Follow these product settings rather than a generic instruction to turn virtualization off.

Keep your Windows recovery key available before changing firmware settings. Do not clear TPM.

Close debugging tools and virtual-machine software. Leave only the required overlay running; close conflicting overlays such as Overwolf, SteelSeries and Steam.

## Activate and launch

1. Extract the downloaded launcher into a local folder and run it **as administrator**.
2. Install [Medal](https://medal.tv/) and run it **as administrator**. Keep it open throughout injection.
3. On first use, open **Register**, create your account and select **Create**.
4. In the dashboard, select **Activate License** and enter the key for your KRUSH product.
5. Select the correct game and follow the injection prompts.
6. Open the game in **Borderless** mode and wait until the main menu or lobby.
7. Press **F2** once the game and overlay are ready.
8. Use **Insert** to open or close the menu.
